First Physio Plus

Established in 1988, First Physio Plus was the first Physiotherapy Clinic in Clondalkin and quickly grew in reputation to become one of Ireland’s leading Premier Physiotherapy Clinics treating patients from Dublin and the rest of Ireland.

All our therapists are members of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (MISCP), meaning they have completed a three or four year undergraduate university degree course (or a 2 year accelerated entry to practice MSc) which includes at a minimum 1000 hours of clinical practice and are registered with the state body CORU (legal to work as physiotherapists in Ireland). Our therapists stay abreast with the latest developments in their areas of expertise to ensure that you are being offered the very best of treatment techniques.

Our Physiotherapists have all previously worked in Hospitals, where they have treated people with varying ages and conditions.

The First Physio Plus clinic has always provided and maintained a high standard of care for over 30 years and is always looking to improve. First Physio Plus is situated in the Clondalkin Leisure Centre (has a “white flag” for excellence) with ample free parking just off the N7 close the M50 Red Cow interchange. Over the years I've been to a number of physios, osteos and chiros and I can say without hesitation that Michael's understanding and treatment of the... musculoskeletal system was greater than the sum of all the previous practitioners combined.He examined me holistically, rather than going directly to the area I felt I had the issue with and revealed issues in my back, pelvis (and most surprisingly) foot, that had been impacting on my movement and balance for an untold length of time. Only then did he examine the offending shoulder. I left my first appointment feeling physically lighter and with my body in alignment in a way I didn't remember feeling in a long time. His knowledge and instinct about where there were issues literally felt like wizardry. The whole experience was very reassuring as I felt for the first time like no stone was left unturned in the examination of my frame. Michael, who has a really warm and likeable energy, was able to give me the details about where my issues lie in a way that was understandable without being patronising.The clinic staff are also friendly and welcoming. Couldn't recommend First Physio Plus more highly.read more

I edited my review because i got a call from First Physio today about my review. We spoke through the reasons i gave a bad review. And in fairness i... voiced my opinion an they answered them... they offered a free follow up which was very good of them an to talk to my concerns. So i up it to a 4 star because they listened. I won't take up the offer as that was not my reason an will pay for my treatment.read more

Fergus is a genius, I went in on my hands and knees this morning and am like a spring chicken this evening. I've had serious issues with protruding... discs, have had cortisone injections, which are great and very successful but if your back is in spasm get down to see this guy ????read more

I’ve nothing but positives to say about First Physio Plus. I booked an appointment here as I was having back, leg and foot pain from working in a... physical job which requires heavy lifting and long hours on my feet wearing safety boots. My therapist was the lovely Aisling who had me feeling great after just two physio sessions. Apart from being extremely friendly and easy to talk too, Shes second to none at her job and really gave me first class physio treatment and knowledge on different streches & exercises going forward to keep in good physical shape. I highly reccomend anyone with body aches and pains to book an appointment here. I’ll be back again in the future for some deep tissue massage therapy. Was treated by Michael and couldn't speak more highly of him. Was recommended by a friend. I went for treatment on my L5 as I've had back trouble for... years, but what he did was correct my whole body stance with one session and I've haven't felt this good in years. Fergus is our family Physio l believe it could be nearly 15 yrs now ? Between mam & daughter’s we’ve all attended at some time , He has a lovely... manner and a expert in his field no messing around he,l set you a program to help you recover without endless appointments, He.s brilliant with children too not overdoing their rehab but giving them the proper exercises to recover & strengthen their bodies ( my youngest has hyper mobility syndrome which leads to a lot of problems but with his expertise he guides her along the right path ), Continue success in your practice The Carey family !read more
